Although they were traditionally considered a flower of friendship, they have recently become a romantic flower. And a popular option for wedding bouquets and wedding flowers!
These flowers are native to South America, but recently they have naturalized in the United States, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and the Canary Islands.
You can recognize astromelia for its six petals, each of up to 5 cm long, and often have a mottled or scratched multicolored appearance. Within the petals there are 6 stamens.
